Roberto Abraham is a Professor of Astronomy at the David A. Dunlap Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto, where he served as the Department Chair from 2020-2025. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and served as President of the Canadian Astronomical Society. From 2025-2027 Prof. Abraham is on sabbatical, serving as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Dragonfly Focused Research Organization, a non-profit company constructing MOTHRA, the world's most powerful wide-field line mapping telescope.
