Firat Demir
Firat Demir is the Executive Assistant to the CEO, President, and Cofounders of Convergent Research, Adam Marblestone and Anastasia Gamick. He manages high-volume scheduling, coordinates travel and logistics, and oversees operational workflows that keep Convergent’s leadership focused and effective. With nearly a decade of experience supporting visionary leaders across national nonprofits, international cultural institutions, and creative agencies, Firat brings a calm, high-performance approach to complex, fast-paced environments.
Born in Istanbul in 1991 and Kurdish, Firat is also a poet, editor, and translator. He has published two poetry collections, contributed to major art biennials, and translated works by Edmund White into Turkish. He is currently working on his next poetry collection, with translated selections of both past and new work set to appear in multiple languages in 2026. Firat has lived in New York since 2014 and holds a BA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
