Corey Ruzicano
Corey Ruzicano (she/her/hers) is a producer, writer, and creative from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked as a creative events and content producer with nonprofits and corporations across the fields of social justice, expression, and community empowerment. Corey’s collaborative work includes projects with luminaries such as Gloria Steinem, Jeanine Tesori, and Claudia Rankine, and she has served as a creative consultant for organizations like Workshop Middle School, the Shift, and Être Girls.
As an educator, Corey designs workshops, courses, and programs that use the arts to teach leadership, executive function, and emotional intelligence for schools, nonprofits, and arts organizations across New York and the virtual education sector. She is also the founder of Where’s The Human?, a creative collective dedicated to storytelling, community care, and artistic exploration.
Her writing has appeared in HowlRound, Stage & Candor (where she served as Editor in Chief), The Shift, and numerous poetry journals. Her debut feature-length poetry collection, still, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2021. Additionally, she manages content and editorial for Rage, an international feminist zine, where she leads the teen vertical team.
